Montpellier

was ove in Montpellier in France a couple of weeks a go for a weekend with my family. Spotted some interesting moss fontains, some of them quite nice and some that was a bit bizzare but yet interseting, haven't seen any like it in sweden before but maybe there are some here in the UK. Also saw some very interesting buildings, I have read about them in the Architectual review since I came back, it's affordable housing which is also built to be very sustainable. one side of the facade is made out of gabion walls which are going to be overgrown by moss so in the end the wall will be all green. when we where there there where omly some small green patches though. i liked it, there are some very big balcones a bit away from the actual building with bridges for the residents to get to them so they get like an outdoor room between the trees, which we could have got to see the appartments from the inside..
